Have you tried yoga yet?
I have done yoga on and off for about 15 years, but it wasn’t until the last few years that I committed to a regular practice. It was during that time that I realized that yoga is more than exercise. It is a way to relieve stress, rebalance the body and mind, and quiet down in our busy world. On a physical level, it has helped me improve my flexibility, balance and strength and led me to become more aware of my own body. I have scoliosis and have found yoga immensely helpful in relaxing my back muscles while strengthening them at the same time. On a mental level, yoga and meditation have helped me step back and assess challenging situations before blindly reacting to them. They have also increased my spirituality and taught me to trust that the right thing will happen at the right time.
New Student Information
Brand new students should sign a release form prior to taking classes.
Attire: comfortable, loose fitting clothing may be worn and bare feet.
Please no street shoes inside practice space.
Please no cell phones inside practice space.
Mats and other props are provided.
Please bring water and a towel.
Please do not wear strong perfumes or fragrances, as others may be allergic.
Please enter the studio quietly and respectfully as another class may be in session.
All classes start on time.
Studio, Schedule & Waiver
I currently offer classes at the Love Your Health studio at 106 S Main Street in Yazoo City. The studio offers a variety of yoga classes and occasional workshops tailored to meet the needs of each individual.

*The downstairs gate closes right at the beginning of class time so classes can start on time. Please plan accordingly.
Basic Level 1 - This class places focus on the proper execution of postures, breathing, and principles essential to a strong yoga practice. It is designed to provide a strong foundation and is appropriate for brand new students or experienced students wishing to strengthen the foundation of their practice.
Level 2 - A more challenging class, focusing equally on strength and flexibility incorporating traditional yoga postures and some dynamic movement. Some yoga experience recommended or general good health and fitness. Not suitable for brand-new beginners.
All Levels Class – This class moves faster than the Basic Level 1 class but is suitable for all levels, from the beginner to the experienced yogi!
Restorative Yoga - This class is nurturing and calming and includes breathing, gentle flowing movements, passive and supported poses. This yoga class is great for those who prefer a softer, gentler approach to yoga, or for students with limited mobility.
Sculpt & Relax – This class focuses on body-weighted exercises to tone all your major muscle groups during the first half and ends in relaxing yoga poses and stretching. The best of both worlds!
Meditation – This FREE 30-minute session will introduce students to meditation as a tool to help them relief stress and start to relax. Suitable for all levels.
